It’s been a long time. A lot of life has happened in the past four-plus years. At some point, I’ll have to unpack it all. But for now, there’s this:
Gravity’s Reach is 95% finished.
I’ve prepped a cover page and tested out ebook compiling thanks to Scrivener. Deciphering ISBN needs and what it takes to self-publish on various platforms is the current task. I have a terminal draft together that just needs proofreaders. Though, finding proofreaders is the hard part. It would be nice to have feedback. The bleeding heart in me is aware that bias blindness is a likely possibility. I’d prefer to address that before publishing… but at this point, hard to say if that’ll happen or if it would get read at all, anyway. I may just say ‘fuck it’ and send it like a Formula Drift car into turn one at Road Atlanta.
Should I just self-publish? Should I send it out?
But for now, it’s nearing the end of this initial book. Here’s the cover. Yes it’s simple, but that’s who I am. At least it’s a photo of an eclipse and not some stock picture.
